  • We try to see every sick patient on the same business day that they call in
  • We will make an attempt to return every call within one business day
  • We have other physicians on-call after hours to return urgent calls.
    • Patients with life threatening conditions should call 911 or go directly to the emergency room and not wait to speak to the on-call doctor.
  • Refill requests will be handled within one business day. It is much easier to get a refill if your pharmacy submits your request through electronic prescribing
  • We cannot return email inquiries that are sent to the practice through standard email. Standard email services do not meet the security requirements of HIPPA.
  • We do have a secure encrypted email service through our patient portal. You can sign up for this when you visit the office.
  • $25 dollars will be charged for returned checks

Appointment Policies

  • 25 dollar charge for failing to cancel a regular appointment more than 24 hours in advance ($50 for physicals missed)
    • This fee will be waived in emergencies.
    • These fees are not covered by insurance including HMO insurance.
    • It is my policy not to overbook my schedule in order to try to avoid longs waits in the waiting room. If you miss an appointment with out notice, it is only fair that you pay for the overhead costs that the time you reserved.
